The Black Shed is an architectural award winning, self-catering accommodation based on the Isle of Skye.

And at the end of the day, The Black Shed’s large king-size bed will be beckoning with its organic cotton bed linen by Toast and cosy blankets from Skye Weavers.

Furnishing and decoration, like the rest of The Black Shed, are minimal, with artwork by local artist Judith Maclachlan and the whisky barrel bench is from Darach, Highland furniture makers. The antique wardrobe was commissioned by Peter Graham, a famous Victorian artist and family member.

The Black Shed’s large walk-in ‘rain’ shower is the perfect way to start or end your day. Enjoy washing in fresh, clean spring water from the croft, complemented by Island Botanics soaps, then wrap yourself in luxurious towels and bathrobes to complete your pampering experience. The shower room is a functional yet stylish space with the simple adornment of Cat Lenz pottery, adding a further connection to the landscape of Skye.
